In early September Sam O'Shea was in an tragic accident while riding his road bike in France and despite all efforts he did not survive. Sam was a huge part of the Byram family and is greatly missed everyday.

Sam was a special son, brother and partner to Lucy, and a cherished friend to so many. His genuine kind heart, warmth and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.

In honour of Sam’s memory, there will be a Charity set up in his name. This will carry forward the kindness and support he so often gave to others without recognition.

Sam has been competing and enjoying sport all his life. From football, to cycling and so many sports in between.

Throughout the coming months and into 2026 and beyond, we will be promoting and actively supporting fundraising efforts for the newly formed Sam O'Shea Foundation.

There is a Just Giving page set up in Sam's name, with all proceeds going to setting up the newly formed charity. Please see link below.

Through the Charity, the hope is to support athletes who lack the resources for essential equipment or the funds to travel to competitions. It also aims to help those recovering from injury who can't afford physio or rehabilitation. Our goal is to offer the kind of support Sam always gave - quietly, generously, and from the heart.

Any support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, from the Byram Construction Team
